Music Tuition at Coppice – September 2026 Onwards 

We have partnered with a new provider, Independent Music Solutions (IMS), from September 2026.  They are already working successfully with a numbers of local school.

Instruments Offered by IMS

• Keyboard

• Guitar

• Drums

• Violin

• Recorder

• Clarinet (Year 4+)

• Flute (Year 4+)

• Saxophone (Year 5+)

Children will need their own instrument, or IMS can provide instrument hire at £17 per term (equivalent to £1 per week).

Lesson Costs

IMS offer two lesson types:

• Individual lesson (20 minutes): £16 per week

• Shared lesson: £7.25 per week (equivalent to £79 per term)

Lesson Arrangements

Lessons will take place during the school day, and parents will be informed of their child’s allocated day and time.

How to Enrol

If your child currently receives music tuition—or if you would like them to begin lessons from September 2026—you must enrol directly with IMS.

Enrolment must be completed before the end of this term.

If lessons become oversubscribed, priority will be given to older pupils.

Learning an instrument provides children with a valuable skill that supports confidence, self‑esteem, individuality, cognitive development and overall academic achievement.
