All food at Coppice is cooked on the premises by our head cook, Lindsey, and her assistants. She makes sure that there is a good choice that meets all the requirements that make us a 'Healthy School'.

We operate a 4-week rolling menu and children can choose to have meals every day, only some days or not at all. We request that any change is made on a half termly basis and is made in writing to the school office inbox - enquiry@coppice.bham.sch.uk.

Lindsey is very keen to have 'themed days', which link to what is going on in the world. For example, we had burgers on the fourth of July and sausages during National Sausage week!

School Council represent the views of the children and help to influence Lindsey in how she might adapt the menu.

Everyone has their favourite day – Wednesday is Pizza Day and a firm favourite with many!

School Money is the computer system used for the recording and payment of school meals. However this system requires a set pattern of lunches for each child. Whilst we can still accommodate a mixture of school dinners and sandwiches, we would ask that any changes to this would only be made once every half term. Should your child require a school meal in an emergency, we would of course still be able to accommodate this.
