School Meals at Coppice

All meals at Coppice are freshly prepared on site by our Head Cook, Sarah, and her fantastic team, supported by the Miquill senior catering team. Together, they ensure pupils have a healthy, balanced choice each day, meeting all the standards required for us to be recognised as a Healthy School.

Our Menu

We operate a three‑week rolling menu, which is available further down this page. Children can have school meals every day, on selected days, or not at all—parents are fully in control of their child’s meal choices.

Ordering Meals with SwiftKitchen

All parents use the SwiftKitchen app to select the meals their child would like on the days they are having a school lunch.

Parents can either:

• Pay as they select meals, or
• Set up a direct debit and maintain a balance in their child’s meal “wallet”.

Meals can be booked in advance up until the end of term, but payment must be made at the time of ordering.

KS1 and Free School Meal Pupils

Parents of children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, as well as pupils who qualify for Free School Meals, still place their meal choices through SwiftKitchen. However, no payment will be requested at checkout.

Same‑Day Ordering

Parents can place meal orders up until 09:30am on the same day.

If an order is not placed by this time, your child will be provided with a jacket potato, salad and dessert. The cost will be added to your SwiftKitchen account and must be paid on the same day.

Free School Meals Eligibility
