School Day

Each Key stage has slightly different timings throughout the school day, this allows for smooth transitions at break and lunch times and improves safety by reducing the number of children outside at any one time. All children have a 15 minute morning break and a 1 hour lunch break.

 

School starts for all children at 8:40am.

School ends at 3:20pm for EYFS and KS1

School ends at 3:25pm for KS2

 

Our school week is made up of the following hours:

Hours of operational opening

EYFS/KS1: 33 hours 20 minutes

KS2: 33 hours 45 minutes

Direct learning time: (without breaks, lunch and assembly)

EYFS/KS1: 26 hours 35 minutes

KS2: 27 hours
