Sports and Extra Curricular Activities

Extra‑Curricular Activities at Coppice

At Coppice, we value the breadth and enrichment that extra‑curricular activities bring to children’s lives. Each term we offer a wide variety of clubs and opportunities designed to support pupils’ personal development, wellbeing and interests.

When Ofsted visited in 2010, they noted that: “Children have an excellent understanding about how to lead a healthy lifestyle and participate fully in the very extensive provision for physical education both during the school day and through extra‑curricular activities.”

Our provision continues to reflect this commitment. Pupils can take part in a range of activities after school including sporting activities such as cross country, tennis, football and netball. We also offer performing arts opportunities including Choir, creative activities such as Art & Crafty Club.

During the school day we also off skill‑based sessions including cooking and Bikeability.

Each term’s timetable is updated regularly, so please check this page for the latest clubs available to your child for extra curricular clubs.

Communications are sent out during spring and summer terms regarding cooking and Bikeability.
