All food at Coppice is cooked on the premises by our head cook, Sarah, her fantastic team, along with the support of Miquill senior catering team. She makes sure that there is a good choice that meets all the requirements that make us a 'Healthy School'.

We operate a 3-week rolling menu (available further down on this page) and children can choose to have meals every day, only some days or not at all. We are moving towards parents being in control of what and when their child eats a school meal and KS2 are the first to have access to our new SwiftKitchen app with effect from Monday 28th April 2025.  Please can all KS2 parents (years 3, 4, 5 & 6) please log into the SwiftKicthen app and select the food your child would like on the days they have their school meals.  You will be prompted to pay as you select meals or you can set up a direct debit and have a balance in your "wallet" to pay.  You can also book in advance the meals selection up until the end of summer term but will need to make payment at the same time. 

KS1 are still booking through School Money for the 4 weeks of Summer half term 1 therefore any requests for changes still need to be in writing to the school office inbox - enquiry@coppice.bham.sch.uk,  After May half term with effect from Tuesday 3rd June 2025 you will also be in control and booking what you child would like to eat each day via SwiftKitchen app.

School Money will remain accessible to provide a lunch pattern for KS1 until May half term and then all children will transition to SwiftKitchen app.  Please can you ensure you pay any outstanding dinner money balances on School Money by May half term.  

On the SwiftKitchen app you can place an order for your child to receive a meal up until 0930hrs on the same day.  After this time, if you forget, your child will be provided with a jacket potato, salad and dessert with the cost being added to SwiftKitchen app, where you will need to make payment on the same day.
